“STUDENT’S MOTHER CHARGED WITH ASSAULT AT EESS !”
Aylmer – A 34-year old Vienna woman was charged with 2 counts of assault following an incident outside EESS last Wednesday around 12 pm. According to Aylmer Police, there had been ‘ongoing disputes’ between two East Elgin females before another argument ensued at the back of the school off St.Andrew St. at lunch hour Wednesday. In this episode, the mother of a 16-year old got out of her truck in the school parking lot and came over to a group of girls and grabbed a 14-year old from Bayham , pulled her hair, threw her against a fence, pushed her down and kicked her. An 18 year old Aylmer female who assisted the victim and began walking her to the office was then accosted by the woman and punched. School video surveillance cameras aided in determining the charges. The woman later discovered her vehicle had been scratched several times with a sharp object while the incident was ongoing – no video evidence was available for this . Aylmer Police were in the halls briefly on Thursday to “establish a presence”.
