The St. Thomas and Elgin County Student – Business Leadership Conference is an initiative to connect post secondary students from St. Thomas and Elgin County with their peers who are now graduates and established in the St. Thomas/Elgin area. This unique and dynamic opportunity will allow students to network, have lunch together, and hear the success stories from community leaders.

“FORMER AYLMER MEAT PACKER IN LEGAL TROUBLE AGAIN (From the “London Free Press'”)

Butch Clare of Burford and two numbered companies were caught buying cattle worth $1.35 million- some 2156 head of cattle were involved – without a licence to do so, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Ontario. They were fined $5000 each plus an undisclosed surcharge. In 2007 Clare’s Aylmer Meat Products was fined $125,000 fpr selling meat unfit for human consumption and the operation was shut down.
