“HAITI UPDATE: ANNEKE’S HUSBAND, MOTHER IN LAW  FLYING TO MISSION TODAY”

Anneke (Barbour) Jones, formerly of Aylmer, whose mother in law has a mission in Haiti, reports that her husband and mother in law are flying to Haiti today and are bringing some medical supplies for a clinic there. She adds that the UN has provided some food and shelter but the needs are still great at their mission.

“ELGIN OPP HEAD TO RETIRE”

OPP Inspector Ryan Cox will retire on Feb. 26. Inspector Wayne Burke from Western Region OPP Headquarters will assume the role of interim Detachment Commander beginning February 22nd.
